Found during the sfd the brake amps for the break away was 6.8 which is too low for tandem axle unit Followed the wiring into the 7 way junction box verified correct wiring which was correct Verified voltage in the junction box which was correct Got under the unit and checked amperage at the back of each hub Found the correct amperage to both rear hubs and no amperage at either hub on the front axle Inspected the wiring and found two issues First the connectors from the main wire to split to the brake hubs appeared to be damaged allowing to much play in the wires Second one of he wires from the connector to the drivers side front hub had been rubbing on the leaf spring and had been arcing on the metal Replaced the two connectors for the main wiring then cut and spliced the damaged wire Retested the amps at the break away and found the amps were now 12.2 which is within acceptable range Work completed 1.50hrs
