@Alix M We are not sure if it is needed on this. The photos provided on the CSC do not show or explain well enough to direct us on the repair or what we are looking for on verification if needed. I am working further with Matt to see if he might have more insight. Also customer is sending further photos of exterior pin box as requested.

step 3 920019- after lag bolts are fixed you will need to check doors make sure they open/close correctly
(There are pictures in the TSB that shows what we are looking for )

@Alix M I'm confused as to what lines i'm supposed to be adding. They wanted us to submit per the service campaign... From my understanding this is to be inspected for the service campaign only. If they can shed some light as to what I am supposed to add lines for I can add them. If they are just going to decline the line after all this we will be going after them for the labor of getting additional information. My concerns are because this unit is far out of warranty that they are going to deny and we are going to have over a half hour of time in to this for nothing because they don't cover "diagnostic."

@Michelle A The instructions are on the TSB and stated above. Here is what you are supposed to do. I have also added Cassi's email into this folder that is telling you to move on to the next steps. This being a TSB, warranty is irrelevant.

@Alix M the unit is not here. when we did inspect it, we did not see that the unit had been affected by this as previously noted. We had pushed this through as completed and not affected... we only added more photos per the request of GD. GD told CMR there may be warranty coverage on the
nightstands, and requested further photos to be added on this claim. We have not done further inspection on the nightstands, just providing the requested photos for GD per their request. There are no further lines to add. Also do not believe there is further issue stemming from the campaign.

Yes this qualifies they will need to complete the lines 920018 and 920019 as directed in the tsb they will need to add another line requesting time for the cabinets shifting etc – I need them to complete the rest of the TSB and make sure this goes back into tolerance -I just need time they are requesting to remove the items to get to the lag bolts and then we will figure out what is needed to put back together
You will need to add the additional lines to the WO and I can get them entered into Grand Designs system.

@Alix M From reading this I am seeing that warr02 is for the actual campaign repair, and warr03 line is for the repairs need caused by the campaign. The campaign repair calls for the 5.8 itself, plus .1 for the door visual inspection. We are asking for approval for the additional 2.0 hr to repair the damages it caused because GD told the customer there may be approval for the damaged caused by the issue. We are recommending putting batton strip over the damaged wall bottoms, but are open to suggestions from the manufacturer if they have a better course of action.

They want specifics as they came back last time we tried to tell them "campaign repairs" and they needed to know exactly what was being done. @Alix M I just spoke to Grand Design about this unit as we found cracks in the frame. We need to add to the pre auth:
920018- to install the lag bolts and repair the frame (I am working on an estimate from a mobile welder for the welding repair I will upload it as soon as I have it so you can update the pre-auth)
920019- to inspect the compartment doors upon completion of the repairs.
Batten strip- we need to add a line for the install of 2 batten strips to cover the damages to the walls on the interior of the unit. We will need to request 2 hours to complete this repair. (there should be a flat rate code for this)
the guy at Grand Design did give me a flat rate code to submit additional time for 920018 if it is needed. the flat rate code for that is: 11028 (frame repair).
We also need to update the original pre-auth to reflect that items were found for repair code 920017.
I will upload a new copy of the work order and updated photos.

ADDITIONALLY, OUR TECHNICIAN HAS 3 HOURS INTO THIS JOB... FOR THE INSPECTION, REMOVING THE FILON TO INSTALL THE LAG BOLTS (WE DID NOT DO THIS AS WE FOUND CRACKS IN THE FRAME AND CALLED GD PER THE RECALL). WE NEED TO BE PAID FOR THAT.. @Alix M So they do not plan to send out SRT team for this unit? We have been waiting on update from them on that. It has been sitting in our shop for a month now and we have been waiting for update.
From what we understood, they were sending out the team to do repairs, and now they are saying its been approved. So just would like verification before I tell my tech to proceed on the work.

@Michelle A what is approved is stated above. The only thing we have the dealership doing is the inspection, batten strips and inspection of the compartment doors. The rest was being done by the sublet, which was approved for $1,727.
SRT team does not need to look at this based on the comments on the PA. "Per case file01000079LCI will not need to review okay to proceed with the repairs dealer had to sublet out the weld repairs".
Sorry if that was the hold up, I thought the approvals was enough to show the SRT team was not coming out.

@Michelle A I need the final RO. Your comment states 6 bolts on each but the invoice uploaded only has 5 each. If you used 6 I need another invoice to claim 1 more of each of them.
