This was denied. Dealer must complete the work within 6 months from the approval date and the job must be claimed within 45 days of the service completion date. If the work is not completed and claimed within this time frame, the approval is void and will be denied. @Chris B

@Chris B @Alix M @Morgan Z THIS UNIT WAS FIRST BROUGHT IN IN FEBRUARY OF 23 FOR THE STOCK PREP. THE UNIT WAS THEN SOLD AND THE CUSTOMER PICKED IT UP IN THE BEGINNING OF MAY. WE DID NOT GET ALL OF THE PARTS FOR THE REPAIRS AND THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO MAKE MULTIPLE TRIPS FOR THE REPAIRS. WE DID NOT GET ALL OF THE PARTS IN UNTIL AUGUST.. BY THAT TIME, THE CUSTOMER HAD BEEN TRAVELING WITH THE UNIT AND WOULD NOT BE BRINGING THE UNIT IN UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON AS HE WAS OUT OF STATE. THE CUSTOMER THEN DROPPED THE UNIT BACK OFF FOR REPAIRS ON NOVEMBER 27TH. BY THAT TIME WE WERE ALREADY DOING ROOF /FLOOR REPLACEMENTS AND THE SHOP WAS FULL. WE THEN SHUT DOWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS. UPON REOPENING WE HAD TO FINISH THE ROOF JOBS TO PREVENT ANY FURTHER WATER DAMAGES TO UNITS. THE REPAIRS ON THIS UNIT, DUE TO PARTS BEING ON BACKORDER... SPECIFICALLY FROM GRAND DESIGN, WERE NOT DONE IN THE TIME FRAME BECAUSE WE BARELY EVEN GOT THE PARTS IN THE 6 MONTH TIME FRAME.

was reviewing your reapproval request, and this is what I found. The original PA# 646832 was approved on 2/24/23. This is well outside of the reapproval guidelines for reapproving pre-auths. The customer didn’t purchase the unit until 5/23/23. That would have given your dealership 3 months to order parts and complete the repairs on the unit before the customer purchased the unit. “We did not get all of the parts in until August and by that time the customer had been traveling with the unit and would not be bringing the unit in until the end of the season as he was out of state.” I looked into your Sales Orders, and I see that the part that you stated was received in August, was ordered twice, once in March and again in August. Then an RA was filed with the parts department by your dealership on the order that was ordered and shipped in August, stating “Return for credit / Full reimbursement / RTS / DUPLICATE ORDER.”
