@Stephanie K On job 4 (tire) A bulge on a tire can cause significant problems. It indicates a severe structural failure within the tire’s internal casing, which is a serious safety hazard. The bulge forms when the internal reinforcement materials, such as textile cords, break or detach, allowing air pressure to escape and causing the tire's sidewall to bulge outward. This can lead to a blowout, a sudden loss of air pressure, and loss of vehicle control, potentially causing accidents. @Chris B what do you think on this one?

I do find it unusual that it would have been denied. Stephanie, I am going to upload a picture here and tag you in it. FR had asked to see the area where the bulge was occurring, and I highlighted it. I sent it over to them. I just want to confirm that I highlighted the correct area.

@Stephanie D This is the picture I sent over to them where I highlighted the area with the bulge. Did I properly document where the bulge is?

Yes, that is the correct area. This one stumped me too. And thank you for sending that over to them showing the bulge!

I had sent that over to them BEFORE they denied it, so I am assuming the vendor also has that photo. Let me email FR on it and put your explanation that yo provided there and see what happens.

Lionshead tire responded to the email, and is still stating that it is a cosmetic issue. I have attached the TSB they sent over here in DB. @Chris B Do you have any thoughts on this one now that we have gotten a denial on it twice?

It is extremely dangerous to have that bulge. Tire needs to be replaced. I would not allow the customer to take it with the bulge.

I've got one more email over to FR. Chris had responded that since it is such a safety concern, I should tell FR that you can't release the unit to the customer and see how they approach it that way/offer any assistance. Hold until until I hear back from Latrenda.

Hi Cole, it doesn't sound like job 4 with the tire is going to go anywhere. They are sticking with this strictly being a cosmetic concern.
