@Destinee M Can you clarify what photos we have in here? Based on the correction for Job 2 - they all appear to be Job 2 but they are labeled Job 1, just want to verify before I enter.

@Destinee M Warranty expired in 2020 for this unit, none of this would be covered under warranty.

Was it a used unit? This is a 2019 unit. I am not sure what to tell you as the warranty expired in 2020 based on the registration in Forest River.

Spoke with Destinee- this does not need to be processed through warranty. Moving to Write Off.

TESTING AND LEARNING — Testing/Learning claim 14246, GRE 8220 / Write Off. The RO records a reconnected exterior-light wire and a taped underbelly repair after a tire blowout on a 2019 Salem. It bills $234.08 to warranty: $210 labor, $3.60 tape and $20.48 extras. The $799.87 grand total also includes customer work such as tires and winterization and is not a factory-warranty loss. WHY FACTORY PAYMENT WAS NOT PURSUED: the October 16 sidebar states that Forest River's registration showed warranty expiration in 2020. The September 17, 2026 purchase was a recent used-unit sale, not proof of renewed factory coverage. After speaking with Destinee, Alix expressly confirmed the work did not need to be processed through warranty and moved it to Write Off. The packet therefore supports an intentional decision not to submit, rather than a documented manufacturer denial of $234.08. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT: verify original warranty eligibility and the correct payer before coding completed used-unit repairs to the manufacturer. Document any separate dealer commitment, customer authorization or genuinely applicable coverage; a tire blowout also needs evidence of its cause before attributing resulting damage to a warrantable defect. The four photos show underbelly patching, consistent with Job 2 despite Job 1 labels; they do not document the light-wire fault or prove why the tire failed. Better labeling would improve the record, but would not cure the stated factory-coverage problem. Reconcile the warranty-coded $234.08 against the actual ledger and intended payer without reopening the withdrawn factory submission. Owner confirms unpaid/write-off status; exact net accounting loss remains unverified. Retrospective learning only. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
