@Alix M This unit is out of warranty by two months or so. However, the damage to the inverter was an obvious workmanship concern. Hoping for warranty consideration. It would provide a lot of goodwill with the customer.

@Matt F This does not show requested labor time. I see diagnostic, but we will still need to know how much time to R&R the inverter. Flat rate is 1 hour.

@Alix M Interesting. Diag shows because we already did that. I have 1.0 for R&R inverter on my end. It must not show unless it has been completed on our end. Yes, 1.0 is acceptable.

Sorry- I had 1 hour in there because the 0.5 to diag. Flat rate is 0.5 hour to replace. I will request 1.5 hour and see what they say (0.5 hour to diag and 1 hour to replace)

@Dustin L @Matt F From FR: the inverter has a two year warranty. We have emailed the admin contact on this claim a troubleshooting form that must be completed and attached to the labor line for review. Please only acknowledge this feedback line after the form has been completed and properly attached. To help keep the process moving smoothly and timely, we kindly ask that the completed form be attached to the labor line within 10 business days. Failure to do so may result in delays or possible denial of the claim. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and assistance. Thank you! *I do not see the form, so I am unsure if they emailed it to Dustin? Please confirm

@Alix M This is not an inverter claim, this is a workmanship claim on the camper. The wiring was improperly terminated into the inverter. That caused arcing and ruined the inverter.

@Alix M you can see in this photo, I put a straight edge up to the wires... The black one was cut short and was never engaged into the levernut. It was just touching the metal contact inside and arcing causing the excessive heat. The heat melted the insulation on the wiring and melted the lever nut on the inverter.
