@Destinee M I have sent John Hamilton and Dan Kussow an email on this and will push for the full time based on previous roof replacements that Greeneway has submitted. Based on the RVDA manual that Greeneway has referenced on previous claims, I am calculating 44.5 hours total so we will see what we can do.

@Destinee M @Matt F Dan's response: Alix,   We will, as always, defer to the Grand Design RV Flat Rate manual guidelines, which you have access to through our Web portal. They are there for your pre-auth submittal process. We do not recognize any other manual or guideline, including RVDA.   I reviewed the pre-auth, and by the VIN, the unit is 28’ in length. You get 1 hour per linear foot, which calculates to 28 hrs., plus 1 hr. per deck board for R & R, which in this case is 2 hrs., with your request that 2 deck boards be replaced.   I don’t see anything that would deviate from the current approval.

They support the need for investigation; concealed decking damage and repair hours depend on the technician's findings and repair records, not the photos alone. The August 31 PA allows 28 hours for the roof plus 2 for decking, against 41 plus 4 requested. Alix's September 1 email instead requests 40.5 plus 4 = 44.5 hours. Daniel Kussow replied that the 30-hour approval would stand under GD's flat-rate guideline. Credit that approval and reconcile the half-hour difference before presenting the supplement. Proposed Monday request: jointly review the actual roof dimensions, required attachments, two decking sheets and task-by-task labor needed under dealership repair conditions, then agree a written reasonable allowance and a named claims owner. This packet describes planned roof replacement; its warranty billing is only $42 of inspection time. It does not establish a completed roof-repair balance. Obtain the actual completion status, itemized final billing and post-repair customer-signed RO required by the PA, plus repair/decking evidence, before stating the amount unpaid. Keep customer-pay stabilizer and pin-box work separate. Learning: agree the full repair scope and supplemental-time process before teardown, capture exposed damage and completed repairs, and submit the complete signed final packet promptly. Greeneway's position is that supported, necessary warranty work deserves fair payment, and we want to resolve the remaining allowance constructively with Grand Design. @Chris B @Matt F
