@Michelle A FR feedback WO 13671: 06/19/2026mpegan@forestriverinc.comHello, is the tech sure that there was water infiltration to the inverter? Has the remote been changed out with a known test good remote to see if that was the only issue? There is also a data cable that runs between the inverter and remote, this could be the issue as well. If the inverter seems to be running well and as designed, but the issue is the remote reading jibberish, I would think the issue is with the remote itself or the data cable. Can you please have these tested to ensure we are replacing the correct part? Thank you.

@Alix M @Matt F I spoke with the tech as well as Matt. There is no remote for this, or if there is we do not have one. I am unsure what they are are talking about. My tech did say that there was water in the component.

@Michelle A From FR: my apologies for the terminology however the control panel you are referring to with the readings of the inverter with the power and select buttons is the remote for the inverter, it controls the inverter without having to get directly to the inverter. If the inverter is working as designed then the issue is likely with the data cable or the remote/control panel and there is no reason to replace the inverter itself. Please have the tech check these two components as requested per my previous feedback and advise if this helps the issue.

@Alix M to clarify, the inverter does have a remote. WE do not have a known working remote to test with. There was water coming out of the inverter case. I would like to replace the inverter and the remote to ensure no future issues from corrosion.
