@Kaitlyn R From FR: what was the original complaint that led to these repairs? Are there any photos from before repairs were started? (I already included all photos in this folder and all information on this WO.)

@Alix M This is a known issue that our techs actually just talked to FR about when they went down for a tour of the plant earlier this month. the wood under the railings is not sealed, so water is allowed past it, it saturates the carpet and the slide out floor.

@Kaitlyn R From FR: i need the name of the Forest River representative who told you this as there are no visible signs of any water infiltration and no known issue that we have been made aware of claim will remain in review until i am provided the name of the contact

@Kaitlyn R @Matt F Gretchin at FR has now denied this stating; there are no known issues and no visible sign of any water intrusion, wood is bone dry per representative who was present on tour: . I never mentioned anything referring to us warrantying a problem with a slide out. One guy did mention that the metal was cut short and a problem can happen, so I said as I always do, “you’ll have to get with our warranty department for any issues”. I sent her an email as she didn't even give you time to respond with the name that she requested. She has been the individual at FR giving us the hardest time lately. I will let you know what she says. @Chris B

@Alix Mongiat it may not be known to Gretchen, but it is known to us. We have multiple LFT units in the field that have customer complaints of carpet around the slide getting wet after a rain. We also have the same issue on several stock units. Only happens when side is out and a heavy rain. It doesn't leave a puddle, it just makes the carpet damp. It is a design flaw that is easily remedied. Happy to hop on a call to discuss further, I have discussed this with the plant manager once, and my team discussed it with him again during their visit.
