@Kaitlyn R From FR: Hello, this appears to be from ice shearing. This happens when ice sticks on the walls, and as it warms up, it starts to slide and takes part of the top of the decal with it upon your acknowledgment I will authorize the part cost only as a goodwill gesture.

@Alix M I feel as though it is not our fault that the decals are peeling and we should not have to eat the labor for the install of new ones considering the unit is still under warranty and has only seen one winter. I would prefer they pay the labor. The customer also noticed the decals and would like them fixed prior to picking up the unit.

@Kaitlyn R From FR: Hello, the decals are peeling because the unit was left out in the elements. Environmental damage, such as ice shearing, is not typically covered under Forest River warranty. Again, as a goodwill I am willing to cover the part costs of the decals. If this is not agreeable we will have to deny for environmental damage. Thank you.

@Alix M The explanation provided—that the unit was left exposed to the elements and that ice shearing caused the decal to peel—is not an acceptable basis for denying full warranty coverage. This camper is a recreational vehicle specifically designed and manufactured to withstand typical outdoor environmental conditions, including exposure to weather and seasonal elements such as ice, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Under normal and expected use, the decals should remain intact and adhere properly. Premature peeling under these conditions indicates a failure in materials or application, not misuse or neglect. As such, this issue falls within the reasonable expectations of warranty protection. Additionally, approving only the replacement decals without covering the associated labor is insufficient. The removal and reapplication process requires proper handling to avoid further damage and to ensure a correct and lasting installation. Labor is an integral part of the repair and should be included in full warranty coverage. Given these factors, I request that the warranty claim be reconsidered and that both parts and labor be fully covered. A resolution limited to goodwill replacement of decals alone does not adequately address the defect or align with the intended durability of the product.

@ANNA F It looks like the freight is listed too many times on the final RO. Please review and let me know. I am not sure why there is a FRT under the parts and then 2 separate FRT charges below. Thanks!
