@Alix M You have free reign to contact Dan on anything you encounter friction on. He needs to be more involved and see the pain points. For this particular concern, I doubt there is a flat rate time for the repair. This means that "reasonable" is the standard that must be followed. Between carefully wrestling the fabric out of the way (and holding it out of the way while tightening the screws so it didn't get boogerd up) and realigning the screws into the crooked holes, it took a bit more time than just tightening screws. On top of this, we also had to locate and provide a photo of the tag on the sofa. All of these small items take time, and by wisconsin law, should be reimbursed for. This is a principled, ongoing concern that needs to be rectified across the entire industry.

Monday request: resolve the supported freight difference first, then agree the reasonable documented labor and remaining net parts amount. Keep the later 13143B step, crooked-recliner, shower and inverter work separate; those lines were transferred and carry zero labor here. Ask for a named owner and written supplemental-payment decision. Learning: match each invoice and shipment to the approved component, capture before/after repair and operation tests, and align the reimbursement request with actual final hours.
