I can tell them this is urgent but an axle tag is needed per labor code.

@Kaitlyn R This was denied by both the vendor and Grand Design. Management: Due to the age of the unit, it is denied.

TESTING AND LEARNING — Testing/Learning claim 12659. PA 893713 was submitted September 4, 2025. The September 9 sidebar records denial by both Grand Design and MORryde because of the unit's age. The September 8 email states that the wet-bolt warranty lasted one year and expired August 5, 2021; the RO shows delivery August 5, 2020. This refusal was a coverage-age decision, not an outstanding axle-tag request: both axle tags are in the photos and Alix confirmed sending them September 4. The technician documented an immobile suspension with a separated spring connection, but explicitly could not determine whether the bolt broke or the nut came off. Seven photos show the separation, hardware and tags, without proving the failure mechanism. The requested work was a wet-bolt kit with 3 hours and a $202.50 service call; any angle-iron modification was contingent on approval. The RO totals $0, so those requests are not a verified paid repair, denied dollar balance or ledger loss. What could have improved the outcome: check component coverage at intake, preserve the failed fastener and document the specific cause and service history, then seek a supported vendor/OEM exception before incurring unapproved work. The existing record does not establish such an exception or a covered defect. Better paperwork alone would not restore expired coverage; a separate payment arrangement would have needed agreement before the repair. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
