@Kaitlyn R @Michelle A @Matt F From GD: The approval of .5 hours is all that is allowed for this repair. This has been a standard repair and should not take longer than that. Did the tech have something specific that caused the work to take longer.

@Alix M This unit was here a total of three times for various things, every time the charge controller was a reoccurring problem. We would simply disconnect and reconnect it and it would start working. (3x .2 hr) We thought it was a user issue. Come to find out it occured for us when we were pulling it in for the ABS module. We reset it again (.2) and let it sit outside for the remainder of the daylight. The next morning we found it not charging again. The issue lies with the controller going to sleep and not waking back up when the sun comes up. In addition to the multiple times having to reset the controller, we also have the time going out to the unit or bringing it in the shop. Beyond all of this diagnosis time, we also will need time to R&R the controller with a new unit. .5 seems fair to install, update and program it. to me, 1.5 seems very fair for the time invested.

@Chris B @Matt F @Heidi H They have still denied the full 1.5 and are keeping it at 0.5 hours. Let me know how you want me to proceed as we have sent the letter along with further information that Matt had sent me, and they are still denying it. Moving to PA's approved for now.
