@Kaitlyn R @Michelle A @Matt F From GD: This unit VIN# 573FR3124T3353872 was shipped out on 6/17/2025   This should have been noticed and noted on the DAF when this unit arrived. Anytime a GDRV Unit arrives it needs to be inspected, and any damages noted. This would have been clearly visible and should have been noted on the DAF. Once the Unit is excepted your taking the responsibility of the condition at that time.   Unfortunately, GDRV will not be able to participate in this request and will stay denied. I have noted this under the VIN#. SF# 00859807

@Alix M @Chris B The unit was covered in bugs and polen and was also scheduled to come right into the shop as it was a sold unit. Also, we have a "truckers mast" on our forklift - the mast height is below the upper deck of the fifth wheel, making it impossible for it to have made contact.

@Alix M @Chris B, @Matt F ACCIDENTALLY REPLIED TO THE WRONG THREAD. PER MATT, WE ARE TO KEEP PUSHING FOR THE LABOR TO BE COVERED AS THE DAF IS NOT A BINDING DOCUMENT. THIS DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY THE DRIVER AT THE TIME OF DROP OFF. WHEN THE INSPECTION WAS COMPLETED FOR DRIVER DAMAGE THE UNIT WAS STILL HOOKED UP TO THE VEHICLE. THE DAF WAS COMPLETED ON THE INTERIOR OF THE UNIT AFTER THE DRIVER HAD LEFT. THERE WAS NOTHING DOCUMENTED ON THE DAF FOR THE KING PIN WEDGE DUE TO THE EXTERIOR INSPECTION BEING COMPLETED WHEN THE UNIT WAS STILL HOOKED UP.

Response: What’s unfortunate is that the until was still HOOKED UP to the drivers truck when we took pictures. We have the date, time and location data in the pictures. That include the drivers signature. We can continue to pursue this including our administrative time or it can be approved and move on. Up to you.
