@Kaitlyn R When I search the FR system, I can find a 4X4TPUS23SP103996, but nothing with the number you have on this WO. I need to verify the correct number as what's on here is not correct and I don't have the customer's name listed on here either to verify that. I looks to me like you have a 2 where an S should be, but I can't just assume.

@Alix M we can disregard this warranty work. The work was not started prior to the customer taking the unit.. Now, the customer does not want to pay for a service call fee nor bring it back to our facility to have it repaired. There is not labor charged out on this work order for the warranty line. I'm not sure what folder you want me to put this in to get rid of it.

The processor also found a VIN mismatch: RO shows 4X4TPUS232P103996 while the portal displayed a near-match 4X4TPUS23SP103996. Verify the physical VIN tag; do NOT guess the correct character. The item was subsequently placed in 'denied claims' because the processor had nowhere else to place it; this is NOT proof Forest River denied coverage or that $57.50 is unpaid. WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE: hold the claim until physical VIN and speaker photos were captured, test speaker signal/continuity/12V wiring, obtain authorization for rewiring, document any completed diagnosis/repair, and resubmit under the correct labor code. Exclude $1,523.51 storage/sales prep/PDI from manufacturer claim exposure. WO opened September 2024 before Wisconsin Act 164 effective October 1, 2024; PA submission was July 2025. Test statutory applicability and timeliness using actual work completion dates and original contract, not assumptions. LEARNING: evidence checklist and VIN validation BEFORE sending to OEM; retain pending-documentation status rather than calling missing photos a denial.
