I was able to trim the excess carpeting on the sides of the steps. As I was about half way up the steps I saw a spot in the front upper bunk area where the carpet edge is about an inch short from the wall. Picture uploaded. Will check with customer to see if adding a baseboard to cover it is acceptable. Otherwise may need to replace carpeting in the upper bunk area. Improper installation from factory.

While looking at the wall issue I noticed the carpet edge in the doorway is unfinished and the bottom of the door frame is broken. The door frame is 77 inches long.
