@Brian P Job 1 - approved for 1.0 hour to replace window. Lippert case 6299636. Please make sure you take the video of the cascade water test and get the picture of the complete window from the interior of the unit when the customer comes back. Job 2 - denied, duplicate claim. Notes state replacing window would correct concern, and window replacement was authorized on job 1. Job 3 - approved .3 hours to secure net and touch up stile. (claim 2508445)

That was uploaded in, I believe in November or December when we originally took the video. Forest River only requested the video to proceed.

I'm sorry Jeannette, but I am not seeing a picture of the entire window from the inside of the unit in the files here. I did have a note on this one back in December here in DB that it would be needed for processing. Here is the note from FR back in november: Vendor states: Case Number: 6299636 VIN: SB939455 Hello Richard, Thank you for the photos. We are still needing the following information: • Photos of the complete window from the inside • Video of cascade water test clearly showing where water is leaking inside/defect

@Jeannette B I got a reply from Richard. The extra time has to be approved by the vendor. He is going to send my email over to them explaining that you had to remove the window already for the window etching, and that it will take two techs to complete repair to try and get the labor up to 2.0. Forest River recently changed their vendor policy, so once Richard send everything over, they should only have 24 hours to respond.

Hey @Jeannette B. The vendor replied to Richard and stated they can't approve anymore time for the window. I have attached a copy of the email from the vendor here in DB. They stated that is is based of their flat rates, and then testing once the part is returned.

@Jeannette B The new PA that I had to put in for this is finally approved. However, the shipping situation is still a bit precarious. @Rhianna S and I chatted, and she advised the COD was canceled, but is leery to do a prepaid label. @Chris B advised the best option is to have Lippert send a prepaid label. I have not been able to get in touch with Dana to request Lippert to send a label, and I will likely need the measurements and weight of the package in order for them to do this. @Heidi H @Jeff M

You're welcome. I did just try calling Tony Dile at FR as well, and left him a message since he was the last one who talked to the vendor. My opinion - it seems silly to ask for the window to be returned, when they have pictures and the cascade water test showing water intrusion. The total amount of the claim doesn't even cost as much as returning the window, so it just doesn't make sense for anyone. I was going to advise him of the cost of shipping the window back to see if it was still really necessary, but could not get in touch with him. I will keep you posted.

@Stephanie K I thought the measurements were on the label, but they are not: This is what I have: Length 81, Width 36, Depth 10 and I believe the weight was 52. So it will be a bit pricey.

Good morning. I contacted Dana at FR and she is not sure why you are unable to create a shipping label. She has reached out to their IT department. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything. Also - I wanted to make sure that you knew that creating the prepaid FR label will send the part back to FR, not Lippert. I asked Dana about this and she said that when they get the part, they will have Lippert pick it up, as they are local.

Hey Rhi. The IT department provided soem feedback, I've posted it below. Please try what they are suggesting below with the largest-smallest measurements and let me know if that allows you to create a label. They will need to make sure that when they enter in the measurements, that the largest measurement is entered into the first box, the second largest is in the 2nd box and the smallest measurement is in the 3rd box. That should then create the UPS label for them. If they still have issues with it. Have them email PortalHelpDesk@forestriverinc.com we can help them with it as well.

Dana has not responded to me after I asked if Lippert could send a label. The package is too large for Rhianna to create a label in the Forest River portal, as Dana instructed. I totally understand not wanting to prepay for shipping on your end for this window. The price that Rhianna said it would be actually exceeds the entire amount of the claim. I just don't know where to go from here, it feels like it's not going anywhere and we are just going in circles with it. Let me know your thoughts. The work has been completed for over a month now.

Original claim is 2449741. I had to get a new claim though because the other expired while waiting for Dana to respond. The current claim that the window will need to be returned under is 2621114. Total claim amount is $690.91. This is a PrimeTime unit. I have not at this time resubmitted it for payment, once it is submitted for payment, we only have two weeks to send the part back before it denies, so I wanted to get this return situation worked out before hitting submit.

@Rhianna S Per the email Jeff forwarded you're going to have to prepay for the label, and then I can add that amount to the claim in the portal when I submit it for payment. Once you have found a carrier, please send a copy over of the receipt you paid for shipping and I will add it to the claim and submit to FR for reimbursement.

Submitted for payment. Spoke with Rhi, she has not gotten a bill yet for this. Window has been delivered to Lippert. If you do get a bill at a later date, I can do a separate claim for what you were charged. Added note to claim for labor/window that if needed, freight will come on a separate claim - as vendor was to pay for return shipping of window.
