@Stephanie D WO 26808, do you know how many hours are on the generator? It looks like that might be the only info they've requested that isn't on the WO/pictures. Thanks!

I am going to get with the tech and make sure he sent in all the photos on this. I may have to wait on the unit to come back to me.

@Stephanie D WO 26808 NPS feedback:
This looks like the unit had a carburetor that was blocked, preventing fuel from getting through. It also looks like they were trying to run it for a long time letting all the fuel seep throughout the generator. Here is where we can start:First can you send me a video of the fuel leaking out from the air box with the air filter and air box lid removed? I would like to see exactly where the fuel is coming out of. At first look, it seems like we will need to clean the carburetor, take the spark plug out and clean it, and drain and refill the oil. Please provide the video and a way to contact the technician so we can resolve this.

@Ashlee O I called the customer and he sent me a photo of the hours on the generator, it is attached. As for the information they are requesting, we will have await the customers return from his trip.

@Ashlee O I spoke with Russ, and we have a couple things we are asking.
I have attached 2 videos, and the one is showing gas/oil coming out of the air box. We would like to know what they are specifically asking for in video. The generator has 3.2 hours, and we run it for 1.0 during prep. This would leave the customer only running it for 2.2 hours. Also, what is the guarantee if there is an issue with the rings and cylinders with gas getting to them? Thank you, Ashlee

@Stephanie D Here's the feedback I got from Jacob Sanger:
Hello Ashlee, This looks like it is a situation of a dirty carb and does not require replacing the entire generator. We approve 1 hour for a carb clean. Please have your tech take the carb apart and send a picture back to us for verification. These carbs are designed to be cleaned, so if there is any corrosion it can be cleaned off. Please reference the carb diagram below and make sure parts 5-9 are on display in the picture.

@Cole P This is what I spoke to you about earlier. I know we have to wait on the customer to come back with the unit!

@Ashlee O We have taken the carb apart and cleaned as directed. So far so good for the generator. The customer has come out and is ok with this repair. I know this whole claim has been a roller coaster! Hopefully this takes care of him!
