I added the daf to the work order and I would advise this person that according to our daf the love seat came in damaged, also the trim popping loose from poor craftsmanship has nothing to do with what condition the unit showed up in

Here's FR's response: The claim is denied because on the DAF, it is noted on the top that any issues found must be resolved within 60 days of delivery. The DAF was signed 1/3/2025. @Chris B

"Per Forest River's own Policy in the Forest River Way booklet page page 13 it states the following "The DAF is NOT meant for Dealers to document every single defect or workmanship problem found in the unit to
ensure warranty coverage. It is meant to identify substantial damage to the exterior and interior of the unit and
to note shortages. If you are unsure of what qualifies as substantial, please use your best judgement as to
whether or not you document the damage. Substantial damage should be visual at 6 feet away from the unit."
These issues are visible at closer than 6 feet.

Hello,
After reviewing all photos, and per lippert, this is damage not defect.
The issue was noted on the DAF, therefore the issue should have been resolved no later than 6 months from delivery date. That is what the DAF is stating.
I spoke with my supervisor, and he says we are sticking with the denial.

@Ashlee O According to the customer when he called FR they told him they would repair this. However, since they have done put the foot forward to repair and it can't be he may be able to get it replaced. I would attach the email as well stating it can't be repaired. I have not heard anything from the other company. When I called and left the message she stated they usually don't come this far, that could be why.

FYI: I have had issue with ordering certain sides of furniture in the past. I know one vender stated if you were sitting on its which side, just a heads up! :)

@Ashlee O According to parts dept at Forest River they let @Tessa C know the recliner is not available to replace just one side.
We will need to replace the complete theater seating. They do attach separately; they are screwed together and only available as a whole. I was not aware and only requested left side to be replaced. Do we need to go ahead and order the complete seating, or should we email Forest River for confirmation?
