Pulled the switch panel off of the wall tested for power and ground of the awning switch. I had 8 V at the switch and had a good ground. Tested the switch for proper function and it does function properly. Disconnected the switch leg to the awning which is yellow and white. Found the white wire has a short to ground. I pulled on the yellow and white wire that comes through the ceiling and I was able to free up about 6 inches and the short in the white wire went away. My guess it was just a staple and I pulled the staple out. There is no more short Im not going to run a new wire at this time however if this issue comes back I will have to run a new wire from the switch panel down to the awning. As far as the low-voltage goes the black and white wire runs across the bottom of the cabinet in the kitchen so we pulled the two lights tested for good connection to make sure there is no voltage drop through the lights didnt see any bad connections. The fuse panel has proper output voltage. We pulled the fuse panel to see where that wire runs and it runs behind the refrigerator. Had to pull the refrigerator to find out whats back there. I had a *1000* good voltage before the refrigerator and bad voltage behind the refrigerator. After removing the refrigerator we found a section of wire that had been stripped and some wires that had been kinked. So we cut out the defective area and reconnected with butt connectors. Tested for proper voltage at the switch panel voltage was correct. All the lights inside and the awning is working now as it should. Refrigerator it had to be reinstalled two lights had to be reinstalled switch panel I had to be reinstalled connections at the awning had to be remade and resealed. @Stephanie K Hey. The pictures are not on the correct job lines. This is the last of the completely messed up work orders. The original WO #73090-1 and we talked about me moving lines to WO73090-2. If you have questions, please let me know.

@Jeannette B Job 1 approved 3.75
Job 2 approved .5 - requested time excessive, FR reduced
Job 4 approved .1
Job 5 approved 1.0 to REPAIR only -
use body filler, sand smooth and use overlay to cover. Repair only.
Job 6 - Dennis Plank wants to know why shims are being added when there is a clearance issue.
Job 8 - approved .2
Jeannette Britton
dealer_or_external • Sep 5, 2026, 12:33 PM
@Stephanie K For job 4 some of the pictures are out of sequence. When the pantry door is opened the brown trim on the right side is completely damaged on the top and bottom. That entire piece will need to be replaced. I believe the pictures are on Job 2. Basically job 3 & 4 are combined and that's why he is requesting 4.5 hours.
Jeannette Britton
dealer_or_external • Sep 5, 2026, 1:33 PM
@Stephanie K Oops sorry. Job 4 would be correct - that was just a piece of trim. Job 3, I will leave and rename - pictures only since they are more of the slide fascia. For job 5, there is no way to sand and fill, the style is damaged, pealing off, on the right side of the top and bottom. For job 6 I will get with the tech on Tuesday. I am so sorry this one is messed up. It's a part of WO #73090 & 73090-1. Call me if it's too confusing.

@Jeannette B Job 6 we talked about earlier today, but you were going to confirm that the shims are being added to kick out the bottom so the top clears. (you'll have to remind me how you worded that when we were on the phone).

@Stephanie K The shims would be put on jam to kick the top back so the door will close without scraping and causing additional damage

Hey Jeannette. Dennis Plank responded to my email, this is what he said.
Good Morning Stephanie,
Thank you for reaching out to me regarding claim #2798967 labor line 4. I tend to disagree, but I am not there to see how deep it is. The 4.50 is still very excessive for the replacement of this stile. I am updating this claim to R&R the stile for 2.00 hours.
Thank you and have a great day.

TESTING AND LEARNING — Testing/Learning claim review: MYRV RO 73090-2, PA 2798967.
Use the final decisions: the September 11 manufacturer email replaces the original 1.0-hour fill/sand/overlay instruction with 2.0 hours to remove and replace the pantry stile. The sidebar confirms that the email's PA line 4 refers to RO job 5. Job 6 was subsequently approved for 1.0 hour after the shim/door-clearance explanation. Neither question remains pending.
Job 1 already documents the completed electrical diagnosis and repair, restored voltage and operation, and reassembly; its full 3.75 hours was approved. Retain that narrative and diagnostic photos. Other approved hours are job 2: 0.5, job 4: 0.1 and job 8: 0.2. The thread says job 3 is a photos-only reference, so it should not become a duplicate labor line. Job 8 has an External heading on the RO despite the explicit approval; reconcile the billing allocation before submission.
The remaining gap is receipt/installation and completion evidence for the fascia, stile, trim and pantry-door adjustment, followed by the final itemized claim and payment confirmation. The 4.5 hours requested for the stile is not the 2.0 hours authorized; preserve actual additional operations/time if seeking a supplement. The photos span related RO numbers and the thread acknowledges incorrect job labels, so match each image to the actual approved operation when preparing the final packet.
Learning: preserve the successful replacement authorization, map manufacturer lines to RO jobs explicitly, and close the approved work without repeating resolved repair-method questions or billing the same work under both related ROs. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
