Jeannette, I had emailed Tony Dile in regard to line 2 only being approved for 1.5 hours instead of the 9 requested on the claim. His feedback was: "Per your email from what I saw hinge can be removed wood glue applyed in crack ,hole drilled from back side proper size screw used to close crack,let dry reinstall hinge.Please,provide pictures proving this would not work for futher consideration.TD" If the 9.0 still needs to be pursued, please send me the photos he requested. If the technician can properly do the repair with the suggestion Tony provided, please let me know. I do also want to note here that the work order shows 8.0 hours being requested, but 9.0 hours were put into the system. Copy of email I sent Tony has also been added here in DB. @Jeff M

FR has been gracious with giving us ample time on this, and I fear without a response soon it may just get approved for the 1.5 since we have not been able to provide any feedback to Tony.

@Jeannette B Has the tech had a chance to review the repair procedure that Tony Dile suggested? If so, will it properly correct the issue? This is an older one, since November, we really should give Tony an update. As a reminder - here is what Tony suggested doing. Per your email from what I saw hinge can be removed wood glue applied in crack ,hole drilled from back side proper size screw used to close crack, let dry reinstall hinge. Please, provide pictures proving this would not work for further consideration.TD

This authorization is pending ALL requirements of repair code have been met.TD. Job 2 - approved 2.0 to repair only - hinge can be removed wood glue applyed in crack ,hole drilled from back side proper size screw used to close crack,let dry reinstall hinge. JOb 3 approved .2 - Excessive time requested for work to be done aproved time .20 NVCB. Per dealers description of this repair. This authorization is pending ALL requirements of repair code have been met.TD. Job 4 - approved .2 - The time for this repair has been adjusted. Job 5 approved .3 -The time for this repair has been adjusted Job 6 approved .4
