@Kaitlyn R This was denied - We cannot do customer reimbursements through warranty. The customer can contact Retail Customer Support for consideration at 574-825-9679 or email customerservice@granddesignrv.com.
No guarantee of coverage being that this is so far past the warranty period.

TESTING AND LEARNING — Testing/Learning claim 12505. The August 13, 2025 sidebar gives the actual refusal: Grand Design would not process this customer reimbursement through dealer warranty and directed the customer to Retail Customer Support for consideration, with no guarantee because of elapsed warranty time. PA 887114 was submitted August 11. This is a routing and coverage issue, not an unpaid completed repair on this $0 RO.
The requested $350 relates to a later outside repair after the customer reported recurring odor. Historical WO 3926B is already present: its technician found no tank leak or blocked vent and recommended cleaning. The Lake Country RV receipt is also present and totals $546.27, combining odor/vent-related work with a new battery; it does not clearly allocate $350 or independently document the alleged disconnected vent inside the wall. The $635.66 historical RO total includes other repairs and is not this reimbursement loss.
What could have improved the outcome: route the customer's reimbursement request to the manufacturer channel identified in the reply, preserve the original in-warranty complaint and follow-up history, and obtain an itemized outside-shop diagnosis and odor-only amount linking the later finding to the original concern. Do not request the already-supplied historical RO and receipt again. Their missing detail—not their absence—is the gap. Any customer-service goodwill decision or recovery remains unverified. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
