@Alix M We need to go back for authorization on this work order... I have attached the technicians notes: unit in shop more pics and measurements taken i tried shaving exterior siding to straightened slides seal i also removed interior fascia again and used used porto power try to square slide i also made coner brackets out of wood to hold slide into place still no differents inside of slide is out of square that why when slide is fully extended there more gap on one side than other the slide is sealing but customer just worried about ripping off seal in order to fix the the slide will have to be dis assembled and reframed correctly or what other ideas do mf has the slide out opening is 148 5/8 and slide out is 146 1/4 Per Matt, we will need to remove the slide out, remove the roof, disconnect the slide wall, move the rear corner in slightly to make it square, then put the wall back on, put the roof back on, then reinstall the slide out. Will need to request 8 hours of labor

@Matt F If you want to follow up on this with Dan. This is still only approved for 4 hours and you are requesting 8 hours due to the comment above "we will need to remove the slide out, remove the roof, disconnect the slide wall, move the rear corner in slightly to make it square, then put the wall back on, put the roof back on, then reinstall the slide out." I have received zero response since sending the original email January 8th.

@Matt F John came back and asked if this was now two different slides out of square. I explained it wasn't and said that we were instructed to enter a new PA since the other timed out and I kept the original PA approval on two lines and added an additional line for the additional time needed to fix this correctly. I am sure he will be coming back and asking for clarification since this has been all over the place through their system and emails. I will keep you posted on his response.

@Alix M it is acceptable for the repair going forward, but only if I dont have to pull off the exterior metal. We will learn more when the repair is started. This also doesnt account for any of the time we already have into it which is already at 23.85 hours.

@Alix M This is the correct one. This is why I am so frustrated with this particular repair. We have attempted a repair half a dozen times and was willing to chalk it up to a learning experience, but after Scott McDaniel (Grand Designs own mobile service tech) visited and verified we were doing everything right and the entire slide box was built crooked, I don't feel like this is a learning experience any longer.

This has been approved: The pre has been approved for the 4 hrs and 10 hrs. So, you can do the repairs. If the dealership feels they need to pull the sheet metal on the slide-out give documentation to that fact an estimate of that repair and we would request pictures before and after.  Plus the 0.3 hour to fix the steps
