COAX IS TOO SHORT IN FROM BEDROOM - NEED TO PULL NEW WIRE THROUGH —— THE CEILING =
partial-match • confidence 0.44
cause
During the pdi | found that | couldn't pick up channels in the front bedroom. When | removed the — coax cover plate, the coax end came off of the cable. When | tried to pull the cable out of the wall to replace 1 the end, it wouldn't move. Removed the outlet next to it to see where it ran. The coax cable goes up through — the top plate/ support beam in the ceiling. Hooked up a wire chaser to the end and began searching for the — cable. | couldn't locate the cable after it goes through the ceiling. Contacted tech support and spoke with EE Robert. | was told to remove the wall panel where the booster is located so | could access the coax splitter. This would allow me to inspect and or change the coax cable. Removed the batten strips and seam tape from the wall. Took a pry bar and pulled the panel away from the studs. After inspection | noticed the coax splitter is not in the area. Therefore, | can't inpect or change out the cable. Instead of tearing apart the rest of the camper to find it, i decided to install a new splitter and coax cable for the bedroom.
