Gray tank sensor is not reading correctly

Not working or reading correctly

correction
Spoke to Forest River talked to Andrea The conversation was in relation to a separate pod in mapped However, the technical support needed was the exact same information with gray tank sensors not reading correctly. I did explain that the gray tank sensors would read 1/3 2/3 after that it was given no reading and you can fill the gray tank all the way up and fill the shower and sinks inside without ever showing full.. She did explain that the sensor would have to be replaced cutting the wire at the sensor, putting a new *1000* connector on the wire, drilling a hole and installing a new sensor reconnecting and retesting In order for this to happen, the belly board will have to be pulled down at the tank sensor area. Gas lines removed. A lot of the belly board would have to be pulled down locate the full tank sensor. Flip the wire put a new connector on it drill the hole and seat the new sensor ref flooded the tank and test the sensor to see if it is reading correctly as the tank is filling and as the tank is emptying, we request a total time of four hours for this job. Used an air chisel and removed through the frame holding the belly board up, started on the passenger side looking for the tank sensors did not see the tank sensors on the passenger side went to the driver side at the same thing used an air chisel found the tank sensors up close to the frame on the driver side rear Remove several screws that were holding the belly board up move the belly board aside without dropping the entire section. Immediately found the wire for the full sensor had been pulled away from the crimp fitting that screwed to the side of the tank due to the type of sensor it is impossible to unscrew and put a new crimp fitting on this wire. Went beside each of the sensors full 2/3 and third and drilled new holes installed new sensors went to the neutral or ground sensor. Did the same thing clipped the wire away from the old sensors but a new butt connector on the sensor wires connected it to the new tank sensors after they were tightened its a rubber grandma style sensor. Once each of the new sensors were installed. They take a hose inside. I quickly filled the gray tank through the sink drain monitoring the monitor panel to third 2/3, and full after the tank was full turn the water off went back underneath. The unit verified that the new sensors were not leaking. Let the water stand in the tank for almost 45 minutes. Verified still that there. New sensors were not leaking. Once this was verified did reattach the belly board each nail that was pulled out was reinstalled where they self tapping screw and washer. Belly board was put completely back in place gray tank was drained. This job is now complete. Page 1 of 2 © 2026 Integrated Dealer Systems *73489-1* Promised Date: 10 JUL 26 W/O: 73489-1

correction
Her Forest River all the staples around the TV lift switch that have no purpose. They dont secure the paneling to anything behind almost a dozen staples to set the staples and putty. The original color of putty used was wrong. It was more of a light brown or dark, beige color and not a black or mahogany color. All the staples were set old putty was cleaned out. New putty applied, which was a blend of black and dark mahogany to color matches close as possible to the wall board. All the staple holes were refilled cleaned photos. Attached job is now complete.

Job 1 - need pictures & I also need to know what the actual cause of failure is. The notes states that the belly board and the control panel will need to be removed to check connections, but there doesn't seem to be a cause of failure identified. I need to know what the actual cause of failure is, is it a wiring/connection issue, is a sensor failing? Thanks!

I added an updated story as the tech found the same problem on another RPOD UN-MAPPED. He spoke with Andrea at Forest River warranty and this is what she had informed him.

@Brian P Job 1 is approved for the 4.0 hours, but please make sure your tech gets pictures before and after the repair. See note from FR: This repair has been authorized, but it is pending approval. All code requirements (specific pictures, part return, check sheets, etc.) must be satisfied for payment of this repair. If they are not, the line may be placed in Feedback by the claim processor to request the missing information. If the information is not provided, the line may be reduced or denied. PLEASE NOTE: We will need photos of the repair before and after Job 2 - the "gouges" are actually D10 staples used to secure the panel. FR is only going to approve setting the staples and then fill with putty. I don't have the time approved yet, but wanted to let you know.

@Rhianna S Can you send me the invoice for the tank probes? I can't find it in the portal, I even tried to use the other VIN that had this same problem, and I can't find it under either VIN.
