Began the diagnosis for the oasis by first checking the main power breakers, and the electric panel inside the unit to ensure that there was not a tripped breaker. Check the fuse box in the same compartment as the oasis just above on the left to see if there were blown fuses I had no red lights inside the fuse box. There were no blown fuses. Went inside to the control board verified water in the fresh tank. The water level was at 35%. *60767* Turn the water pump on verified circulation of water throughout the unit at all faucets. Turn the burner on to the oasis in immediately started on diesel can hear it running and powering up after allowing it to run began checking hot water at the faucets. The water was lukewarm at best went to the shower switched the recirculator on could hear the water cycling inside the unit recirculating water however, no hot water would be fully generated. The blue button in the shower never change colors from the deep dark blue. Went to the oasis unit found the power switch on the top of the unit turn the power switch on allowing the oasis to continue to run began checking other faucets throughout the unit. It was now generating hot, hot water at the other faucets went to the shower turned the recirculator on, watched as the blue button changed to a milky color and not the deep dark blue. Turn the water on in the shower to hot and it was producing hot, hot water. Determine turning the switch on turns the summer loop on allowing the oasis to operate by generating hot water on diesel, but not turning on any of the floor heat throughout the unit was determined that the oasis is working correctly in this mode will have to show the customer when he is dry camping on how to turn the summer loop on and off. 2.50HRS

Was found in this unit that it does not have a brake control controller. Customer reported hooking up and connecting the seven way and it locked up the brakes on the trailer that he was towing. Use the shop tester and found that there was constant power to the brakes from the brake line. No brake controller installed in the unit. Contacted Newmar spoke to Stan got a case number 109-7945. Told Stan what the issue was that there was constant power to the brake line that the unit is not equipped with the brake control controller. Stan *73432* informed me that the unit is pre-wired and thats how it is wired from the factory that a brake controller needs to be installed if the customer is going to be towing anything. Again reiterated that the factory pre-wired everything under the dash on the left side that there is a wire bundle that is taped off underneath the dash for the pre-wire for a brake controller. Will need approval to either further test locate the brake line wire and disconnect it from full-time power or if the customer chooses to install a brake controller on his unit. Job will be on hold for approval. NEWMAR DENIED ANY WARRANTY COVERAGE

Found during the diagnostic process of checking and verifying proper operation of the oasis unit was found that the water pump never turns off it is pumping water throughout the unit however, it will not completely shut down once the system is re-pressurized. During the check for the oasis, the strainer filter was removed and cleaned. However, this does not resolve the problem. Further diagnostic will be necessary. Further check further check of the area around the water pump and examination of how the basket strainer was attached to the water pump. I found the basket strainer had been threaded to the pump cross threaded therefore, it was not completely seated. I remove the basket strainer, and the entire assembly completely examined it found the cone washer missing from the the scribble nut on the basket strainer that attaches directly to the water pump was missing. Replace the cone washer, insured that the basket strainer was threaded onto the water pump correctly and straight after reattaching the basket strainer turn the water *60767* pump on went through the entire unit inside and out bled all the air out of the waterlines verified that the water pump would turn on pressurized run water, and then turn off at the end of the cycle, which it did this work is now complete. 2.00HRS

When first checking the seven way finding that it had power causing trailer brakes to lock Promised Date: 05 JUN 26 W/O: 73432 up. Contacted Newmar case number 109-7945. Talk to Stan. Stan stated the unit is pre-wired for a brake controller. The wires are in the drivers compartment underneath the dash near the steering steering column. Remove numerous screws to remove a portion of the bottom of the dash and cover for the base of the steering column began searching for the wire harness was not able to locate it took the side panel off still was not able to locate the wiring harness. Called Newmar gave him the case number spoke to Leon. Leon stated that this seven way was wired by Newmar the blue wire was actually connected so it would have power and that the wire harness is normally located in the area that I have been searching. However, was going to send me information possible location, or areas to check for the wiring harness. Receive the email from Newmark and it printed and begin searching underneath the unit for the wiring harness check the entire front end area all the way to the end of the frame was unable to locate any wiring harness or any wires that would be connected to the seven wire went to the back of the unit at the seven way and began tracing the wires following the wiring harness from the rear to the front. It still was unable to locate any cut ins or any taped off. Deadhead wires went back inside, look deeper into the area around the steering *73432* column further up towards the instrument panel to see if the wires were not secured high up in the dash was unable to locate any wiring harness or any deadhead wires, as stated in the printouts, which I received from Newmark job will be put on pause until freightliner in Newmar can be contacted again to gain further information on where to locate this wiring harness. Reassembled all of the components inside that have been removed all the kick plates cover plates steering column covers the entire bottom dash cover were all completely reinstalled inside. The dash light was reconnected. Everything was put back into place as was prior to searching for the pre wire This will be referred to freightliner.

@Brian P Job 1 - Notes from Newmar: BASED ON THE NOTES IT APPEARS THE BYPASS SWITCH WAS TURNED ON WHICH RUNS THE LOOP PUMPS FOR HEAT ALL THE TIME. DID ANYONE CALL ITR (OASIS) FOR TECH SUPPORT? SOUNDS LIKE A SUMMER PUMP, AQUASTAT, OR FLOW SWTICH ISSUE. Job 2 - denied - not a warranty issue - Notes from Newmar: NEWMAR DOES NOT INSTALL OR CONNECT THE TRAILER BRAKE OR CHARGE LINE CASE NOTES BRAKE FOR TOW VEHICLE STAN SICZEK SPOKE TO TIME JUNE 2, 2026 AT 2:17 PM DESCRIPTION THE TECH CALLED AND HE SAID THE CUSTOMER HAS HOOKED UP A TOW VEHICLE AND IT BURNT HIS BRAKES UP I SAID DID HE NOT INSTALL A CONTROLLER BECAUSE WE JUST INSTALL FOR A PREP THAT WAY THE CUSTOMER CAN INSTALLED THEIR PREFERRED BRAND. Job 3 - approved .5 hours - notes from newmar: THE UNIT HAS BEEN USED SINCE SEPTEMBER 2025. WILL ONE TIME GOODWILL .5 HR TO CHECK THE WATER SYSTEM OPERATION BUT BASED ON THE INFORMATION THIS IS REALLY NOT A NEWMAR WARRANTY ISSUE

Hey Brian. I'm sure you got my email, but just want to keep the notes here up to date as well. If you could, would you call Leon and discuss line 1 with him? I'm not sure I would have all the information to discuss this with him, and if he gives any suggestions, I think it would be best if they went directly to you. Please let me know if you speak to him, I will keep my eye on the claim regardless though. Line 2 remains denied, see notes in email Line 3 remains at the .5 hours, see notes in email (email attached in DB)

Hey Stephanie, Yes I will call Leon. In all my years, I have not ever seen the blue wire for the brake control wired to constant hot without a controller. For the reason it will activate the trailer brakes and lock them up.

I spoke with Phil, he gave a bit more time on Job 1 and 3.. he wants to talk to the chassis manufacturer for Job 2.

Ok. Job 1 is approved now for 1.25 hours and job 3 is approved for 1.0 hour now. Job 2 remains denied, and I can't edit it at all, so if he ends up allowing some time on that, let me know if I need to do a new line, or if he goes in and updates the labor time. I'm going to move this to the PA approved folder, for now, as there is not anything else I can do with job 2 right now.

Yep! I saw that. I just wanted to let you know that I moved it, mainly, and if he says a new line as to be done for it, to let me know. :) I wasn't sure if after he contacted them, if he decides to give time, if it would be automatically changed or if I would need to do something.

Hey Brian, just wanting to give you an update. There have not been any changes to the claim in Newmar's portal regarding line 2, it's still denied. I'm not seeing any new pictures in DropBox either. Are we still attempting anything for line 2?

We had talked on the phone with them. They are not going to help out. However, this maybe their undoing as Mr. Moreno is not very happy with them. I told Mr. Moreno we can't go any further as we have no assistance from Newmar and they will not consider any warranty coverage.
