Just noting so you have info on what Jayco is requesting. From Jayco: pictures do not show an issue with need pictures of the battery and solar panel with model & serial number

Ok, but this hasn't been approved yet. The photos Jayco had did not show an issue and they wanted pictures of the battery AND solar panel with the model and serial number. The pictures I have here in DB are the same ones that were uploaded to the line in the Jayco portal. It looks like I have a picture of the charge controller, but the model/serial numbers are not readable.

Can you clarify why the controller needs to be replaced? Jayco is asking why it needs to be replace, they say they see no issue and Jayco does not install batteries.

Is it some kind of setting for the battery that is not available on the controller and the unit has a different kind of battery than what it shows?

If they turn the pic they can see the serial number, as for the black stuff, I dont know. The dometic tags were put on after so nothing we did
