@Stephanie D this has been denied, "since the air conditioner is cooling as designed after properly connecting the thermostat wire and since the product nor it's parts are not defective, the service would not be covered by the product warranty. The issue is caused by improper install.

TESTING AND LEARNING — TRI 1202 / RO 26817. Internal factual review, not final adjudication. The work order describes a GE rooftop A/C that powered on but did not cool, a loose thermostat-wire diagnosis, and resecuring the connections with cooling reported restored. Packet photos support GE equipment, rooftop-unit, and wiring identification, but do not independently prove the connection was loose or that a functional retest passed. The indexed Dropbox discussion for GE claim 21179441 reports an initial no-charge replacement approval with labor and diagnostic time, followed by a reported denial attributed to improper installation after the thermostat connection was corrected. The original GE approval, later denial, and decision history are absent, so the authorization sequence and final outcome remain unverified. Please obtain the primary GE claim decisions and timeline, referenced approval attachment, installation/diagnostic and functional-test records, any parts shipment or return, labor authorization, remittance, and appeal/settlement outcome. Do not classify the claim as finally adjudicated or paid without primary evidence. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
