@Stephanie D WO26812 KZRV feedback: Suburban engineering lab has tested and confirmed this type of expansion/crack/split/burst outward of the copper tubing is a result of the unit filled with water then exposed to freezing temperatures. This is not a manufactured defect therefore not covered by Suburban warranty.

TESTING AND LEARNING — TRI 1202 / RO 26812. Internal factual review, not final adjudication. The work order describes a leaking water heater and a proposed complete replacement. Packet photos show water escaping at the water-heater compartment and appliance tubing, but do not independently establish freeze causation or a manufacturing defect. Existing Dropbox discussion records PA#KZ629786 and relays a KZRV/Suburban coverage denial attributed to alleged freeze-related copper-tube expansion; the primary manufacturer decision and engineering report are not in the packet. Please obtain the original KZRV/Suburban decision and engineering findings, complete appliance model/serial identification, technician diagnosis and evidence of alleged freeze damage, repair/replacement and post-repair leak-test records, and any payment, remittance, appeal, or settlement outcome. Do not classify this claim as finally adjudicated or paid based only on the folder or relayed comments. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
