@Stephanie D WO 26677 Ticket #63071 Full replacements are not authorized, All subcomponents are replaceable.  Please have them test the motor independently and make sure it works in both directions.

@Ashlee O Per my tech Jayson, the motor is good. We are asking for the right jack assembly not to include motor. Will you please see what they say about that feedback, this one is a little tricky to me.

@Stephanie D Vendor feedback: We do not authorize full replacements, as all subcomponents are replaceable. Can you verify the coupler between the motor and the threaded rod is there and not damaged?

@Ashlee O I have attached a couple of videos showing the issues. The tech and I went out together and I had him edit a photo showing what he is requesting for the repair. We do now have a new issue; the motor is locked up. During the videos and gathering information we heard a pop, now the motor is locked up and will not turn. So now we will need the motor and the assembly kit. I am not sure exactly what it is called but we need from the motor back.

FR feedback: 02/11/2026bvdillon@forestriverinc.comhello, the vendor has denied as the jack was being tested with a drill or power too will strip the gears. Can you confirm if the motor only is needing replaced? Vendor feedback: Running the jack assembly with a drill or power tool will strip the gears in the motor. That would be considered damage, not warrantable.

The jack assembly was faulty and would not work prior to the drill being used. The power tool was used to prove the one side will not go out. The motor and assembly needs replaced at this time.

Please order the replacement part from the Forest River parts department or a local supplier. If the part is purchased outside of Forest River or the Vendor, the Off-the-Shelf parts policy would be applied, and a receipt would be required.

@Tessa C Approved to order the following, Line 1: complete assembly. Just a FYI this was a process getting approved. I would email someone and give the warranty claim number in the email. this way they can't say we ordered the wrong part or come back on us in any way! I don't trust them on this one! Line 2: To replace the touch pad (vendor part number 20300086) This is the part number sent back on the claim for ordering!
