@Michelle A From FR:
Hello, I apologize but I am getting some conflicting information from the pictures on this claim. I see the gold actuator and a single bolt which would lead me to believe this is a Tuson brand and not a part of the recall, however, I do also see where the part number is 168956 which is what the TSB states is the defective actuator. Can you please confirm if there is a plate with the serial number anywhere on the actuator or if the LCI logo is embossed on the silver head of the actuator, this would be by the motor. Thank you.

I am not sure how to proceed without being able to confirm this is part of the recall.

@Chris B @Heidi H Please review this. This has since denied/timed out in FR, but I am not sure we will even get this paid if they don't have the information they need. Let me know if you think we should re-enter it even though we don't have the photos they need.

@Alix M this looks to be non claimable, if the dealer doesn't have the (replaced) part to check and the unit isn't there to confirm with pictures per the manufacturers request.

processor • Jun 23, 2026, 12:28 PM
@Michelle A @Matt F if you no longer have the old part, to get the requested picture, we will not be able to claim this repair for you. Please confirm that you no longer have the part and will will move this claim to unable to submit. Please advise your team to keep parts for the required amount of time after repair, in order to alleviate these types of costly mistakes.

@Heidi H In photo number 2, the gearbox head is cast and indicates it is an LCI, which matches the part number.

@Heidi H I didnt know you could highlight and comment on a photo... super cool! This is the one, and the highlighted area is the cast metal gear box and lid, proving it is an LCI part.

Gotcha! thanks, @Alix M send them this with a note stating it's an LCI with cast metal gear box and lid.
