It wasn't noted on the DAF according to GD, that is what they mean by not previously noted.

TESTING AND LEARNING — Testing/Learning claim: GRE 8220 / Write Off / RO 10993. WHY UNPAID: Grand Design PA808645 was denied September 18, 2024 as 'not previously noted.' The December 5 sidebar reply explains exactly what that meant: the missing pieces were not noted on the dealer arrival form (DAF). Both photos show missing dinette back-top trim, but they do not establish the condition at dealer arrival. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE DIFFERENTLY: inspect both seat backs on arrival, list both missing tops on the DAF, attach dated photos, submit within the applicable shortage-report window and retain acknowledgment. Any appeal would need genuine contemporaneous arrival evidence; later photos alone do not cure the missing DAF record. MONEY/COMPLETION: the RO requests two tops and two hours, but bills only 0.5 hour at $115 ($57.50), with part quantity zero. The $20.54 unit price is not a billed parts total. No completed installation or final submitted dollar amount is established. Reconcile actual work and accounting before assigning a loss amount. Per the owner this is an unpaid/write-off learning claim; better arrival documentation could have supported payment, without guaranteeing acceptance. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
