Job 1: hello, can you advise when this was first noticed as the unit has been on the dealer lot since 2023 prior to retail sale with no notations on the DAF?

TESTING AND LEARNING — GRE 8220 / Write Off / WO 10493, 2024 Forest River Flagstaff Micro-Lite 25FBLS. WHY IT DID NOT PAY: The June 4, 2024 native Dropbox discussion records Forest River claim 1939485 submitted and denied. Forest River's stated basis was that the large door-side scratch was not noted when the trailer was delivered in November. The original 2-page RO and 3 photographs support that the black lower graphic/surface was scratched, but cannot prove when or where it happened. The RO's separate April 27 retail delivery date does not disprove the OEM's November dealer-delivery account; get BOTH handoff records. The dealer DMS customer/bill-to says GRAND DESIGN on this Forest River Flagstaff unit; verify and correct payer mapping, but the native comments say the claim was actually submitted to Forest River. WHAT COULD HAVE SECURED PAYMENT: photograph the unit at manufacturer-to-dealer unloading, receipt/PDI and retail show-through with timestamps; record freight/transport exceptions; establish if the scratch was present at OEM delivery or discovered later; secure a correct part number, actual replacement labor and freight invoice, and use the appropriate warranty, damage-in-transit or responsible carrier route within the original deadlines. FINANCES: the RO shows $19.46 freight and $0.00 parts/labor billed (the $3.43 decal price had quantity zero and decal labor was 0 hours). Neither $19.46 nor an unbilled replacement is proven submitted, unpaid or recoverable; no manufacturer-dollar-denial or GL writeoff is established. Wisconsin §218.164 effective October 1, 2024 is NOT presumed retroactive to 2024 May–June claim events. LEARNING: reconcile manufacturer/bill-to and capture each handoff condition, actual work, claim response and paid/denied amounts before escalation. Internal testing and learning only; no final payment or legal adjudication. @Chris B @Heidi H @Tricia H
